“Moyna is an Independent Consultant Occupational Therapist and Advanced Practitioner in Sensory Integration.
After working for the NHS for 15 years, most of which was in paediatrics, and following the arrival of her son, Moyna set up her independent practice and recently completed the build of her bespoke Sensory Integration clinic where she now provides specialist assessment and intervention for mainly Autistic people throughout the life span, and people with developmental, sensory processing difficulties and motor coordination challenges.
Moyna lectures and mentors students for the Sensory Integration Network affiliated with Sheffield and Hallam University on their MSc Sensory Integration Modular pathway and provides clinical supervision to other OTs.
Moyna is in the process of publishing her research with the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders which investigates the sensory experiences of autistic mothers”.
